1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HouseQuant ("the Service"), operated by HouseQuant Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HouseQuant provides real estate data and analysis tools, including property and parcel data, deal underwriting, financial modeling, and AI-assisted research features. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any registration information you submit is accurate.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes, without limitation: scraping, harvesting, or bulk-extracting data from the Service; reselling or redistributing data obtained through the Service; reverse-engineering or circumventing security or access controls; interfering with the operation of the Service; or using the Service for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct.
6. Data and AI Disclaimer
The data, estimates, and analyses provided by HouseQuant, including output generated by AI features, are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Property data is compiled from public records and other sources that may contain errors or be out of date, and AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You should independently verify all information before making investment decisions.
7. Fees and Billing
The Service is currently offered free of charge during our open beta. If we introduce paid plans, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you are charged. Paid subscriptions, when offered, will be billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis; you may cancel at any time, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no refunds are provided for partial periods.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by HouseQuant Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership rights.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates third-party services, such as sign-in providers and mapping and data services, which are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or the accuracy of third-party data.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will survive.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will be accurate or complete.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HouseQuant Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to investment losses based on data provided by the Service.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
